Job Title: IT Technician
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14-16 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, medical devices, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to understand technology needs and optimize IT solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Manage user accounts, access privileges, and security protocols in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and service agreements.
- Stay updated with healthcare IT trends and emerging technologies.
- On call rotation for after-hours support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree in information technology or related field OR a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, electronic health records (EHR), and medical devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Proficient in Linux, Windows, and Mac OS operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and VPN technologies.
- Experience with Office 365 or similar productivity suites.
- Familiarity with IT support tools such as Freshdesk or similar ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
